First Aid with Homeopathy

When using homeopathy for first aid it is important to be aware that the remedies are determined by the symptoms, that is why there is not necessarily one remedy for any particular symptom. Where necessary the symptoms are indicated.

It is also extremely important that although you can use first aid very effectively in first aid. It is not always going to be absolutely right as only a homeopath can understand the complex details of how to prescribe best. However, it is well worth while having a go for a relatively cheap outlay. Do not think homeopathy does not work if you don't get the best result. There are many remedies that could help but only a homeopath would be able to determine what might be best. However it is well worth trying some first aid to see if it helps with acute symptoms.

Anything deeper or any emotional and mental, or physical problems do need to be dealt with in a thorough consultation with a homeopath.

First Aid

Arnica - Give first in any accident or injury. For bruises, bumps and bangs. It is basically for any physical shock or trauma. Use in ointment where the skin is unbroken. If broken use Calendula or Hypercal.

Colocynth - Colic, tummy aches, maybe diarrhoea. Child bends double for relief.

Belladonna - High fever with red face, hot head. Delirium. Earache, sore throat, sunstroke, eyes sensitive to light.

Chamomilla - Teething pains. Colic. Pains unbearable, child unsatisfiable, angry. Wants to be carried.

Pulsatilla - Earache, dry cough, conjunctivitis. Child is weepy, clingy, thirstless and usually hot.
